Chinese O's.
Chinese O's. - UpdatedFirst part of the paper, with the exception of um.." duan wen dien kong" (i dont know if i got that right and i dont fucking care), was relatively easy. I could actually understand the passage and thus b able to answer those opinion-based questions.. so... yeah happy about that.
Last passage however, was quite the opposite. Couldnt understand crap from the passage and the questions were all based on deep understanding of the content. All i could do was copy out whole chunks of answers from the passage... hopefully i actually get a few questions right =D.
And thats that. Chinese o lvls... Pass this and i can leave chinese behind.. fail and...gotta fucking retake!....
O god pls let me pass!
This is it. The very first O lvl exam.. Chinese!! Quite nervous as this will be mine, as well as my classmate's first official examination! I keep having these images that i freeze halfway, forgetting every letter format, every "chen yu".. and everything i studied! Chances of that happening are.. well.. based on my weird ways.. perhaps 90%? :). Oh well... i'll just pray and see how it turns out.... time to recall how those "cool down" exercises go again...
I think im pretty much prepared for tmr.. spent yesterday doing papers, compos, and seeking advice from my sister! ( who miraculously is the first person in my family to pass chinese in 0's ).. so yea.. i think it should be alright.

TwistedSatisfaction is now revamped!
why the change?
I've suffered the terrible consequence of Singlish usage.. as seen in my exam results, thus i feel i should start typing proper, readable english once again. Also, have recieved lots of feedback from readers and i decided to do something to make this blog more presentable. Finally, i think its about time this blog got a renovation. :)
New features include:
-New, 100% customised layout.
-Improved English, Posts now more "readable".

Just another post.
Just another post.Hey folks! Finally got a new layout up.. quite a change from the usual pre-made skins... went all out to make this one custom.. what do you guys think?
Anyways, thought some of you might be interested in my last minute MYE art work lol; a combination of 2 hours+ of cross etch and paintshop. In case you guys were wondering, cross etch is a form of art where you basically draw, shade, and tone out works using really fine tipped pens. (Eg.0.01, 0.05,0.1) In my case i used alot of 0.05...........ok so here they are..

The Dentist, Ass surgery, and crappy results..The Dentist
Was summoned to the pit of tremendous pain and stupidity today(a.ka. The dentist ).
Horrible experience! I Just fucking hate a drill spurting water being stuffed into my mouth together with a psycho dentist exploring my teeth! Its just not right! Freakin hell.. i brush my teeth and clean my gums! WHY ME?!
Anyways..Managed to get a photo of the scene before a drill hammered home in my teeth.

Dad's surgery
My dad had to undergo surgery for some arse problem.. something to do with a collapse of his internal ass lining... went to visit him at the hospital 2 days ago and he's now back home and walking again... looks like the ass-lining stapling was a success! ^_^.
And now..Results
Results are generally disappointing.. at this point i think i have to buck up and start seriously mugging. Not mug/msn/music/break mugging... SOLID, HARDCORE, STRESSFUL MUGGING is what i need right now.
Recieved my all time low for english... a fucking 52. I guess it would be childish and sore if i were to tell you guys that Errol chang (Nutcase Geog/Eng teacher from Sarawak) has some deep hatred for me and thus marked my paperwith extreme biaseness..Even if thats what i feel..
However the fact remains. My english has detereorated..undoubtedly due to excessive jay chou songs. Ill spend the coming holiday brushing up on my grammer and hopefully i can pull out of this shitty english state by prelims.
Moving on to Combined Humans, Art and sciences... I failed SS by 1 mark. how fucking sad is that? On a better note i actually hit my target for geog .( B4. i know its kinda low but hey, its a start... )Anyways, that kinda pulled up my humans.. final score -> 55%... Chemistry results were expected.. a fail.. couldnt understand half the paper.. some1 give me chem tuition!!! Havent gotten back Physics results.. will update tmr..
Screwed up for Art, got a measly 60... guess i deserve it cus of the last minute work i handed in... but then again.. everyone handed in last minute work lol.
Failed Maths, however there seems to be improvement... Used to fail with an F9 but this time i missed passing by 8 marks! So.. yea i guess im on the right track but i've seriously got to push harder if im to pass for prelims... in 3 fucking months..
So there you have it.. my super shitty results... gonna have to push myself harder from now on.. Looking forward to a mug-happy june holiday!^_^

Cross country 2006.Ended up running competitive today due to of lack of participants; only 4 of us in total turned up for Buckley house. Ironically Mr.Soh, on selection day striked off the names of pple who had to run for the absentees and came in at top positions . Ie.) Marc Anthony, 4th/30.
The 4.8km was no joke. Started off running with ajmal for the first 2km... told him not to run fast at the start... he began to lose energy by the 1.6km mark.. anway.. seeing as he slowed down for me at many points in the run i slowed down and waited for him too when he decided to walk...
He later told me to go ahead
( Quite a relief. Not because he was a hindrance or anything but that my momentum was disrupted due to the run-walk pace, thus causing me to lose energy quicker )
Continued running til the last stretch.. i think roughly about 2km long.. Fucking hell it was like eternity... really had to push myself then... what made it worse was the fact that the track was covered in sand, so as you run you burn lots of precious energy just ripping your foot out of the sand.
Thankfully i made it and ran through the last stretch,half-sprinting to the finish line.. Here are the results.
Position : 17/30
Timing: Around 30 min.
Reward: Free pair of socks and water!
Quite happy with my position, considering the fact that i wasted alot of time and that i didnt train for this run whatsoever. Its a nice feeling when you finish something that was fucking tedious and look back on it... Still rmb my sec 2 run even now! Think i came in26/55+ or something like that then.
And so ends my seconday school cross country experience! ^_^

Just another sunday.Went for mass as usual today, followed by lunch with the con4's... discussed the class t-shirt and i'm happy to say it might actually turn out awesome.
So anyhows, spent the evening coming up with the dove design drafts and here's the most "presentable" i produced.....
Headed off to play CS with chan, shaun and andrea at nearby city plaza after lunch. Not to be a brag but i kinda owned.... Kinda.
( i know you're reading this shaun BUTS ITS THE FREAKIN TRUTH. )
Well.... maybe i wouldnt have if not for the slick headshots every few seconds.. And it was a freakin 3 on1.
Got cross country tmr.. the last cross country of my sec schooll life...... yeepee..

Mom's birthday.Celebrated my mom's birthday @ regent hotel with the family at this really rad chinese restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and the food portioning equally fulfilling. Moving on to the food.. We had Cereal prawn ( Crispy batter layered prawns buried in mountains of sweet "cereal".. best dish ever! ) , Kai lan, soup , noodles and some chicken dish soaked in tasty gravy. Conclusion? The food was excellente! Satisfying beyond words! ^_^
Could see mom enjoyed it too.Argh but i still haven't bought her birthday present.. better do something before wednesday.
Oh yeah and i found this band on http://www.purevolume.com called " A change of pace ". Awesome post-hardcore, screamo and punk band! Go listen.. they've got free song downloads on their profile.
Before i go here are some MSN Display Pics i made recently in a bid to destress from exams! In sum fucked up weird way i find peace doing this kinda shit lol. feel free to use them, but would be nice if you first inform me =). Ciao peeps..

Poseidon and Cineplex.
Went with jared, siew, khoo, james to watch poseidon today. action sequences were cool and graphics were not too bad either. However i feel they should have put a larger emphasis on the characters themselves, bringing out their talents, memories and weaknesses. The lack of these factors created a movie with no "heart", plunging right into pure action and thus forsaking the emotion that the first poseidon movie radiated.
(God, im beginning to sound like those ever squabbling film critics lol.)
Watched the movie in some new place called Cineplex. The place is neat, its cinemas has really comfy seats that can match those you see on business class flights! They also have "couple " seats which are larger, situated at the back, and have movable arm rests lol. Definitely gonna be back here for more. Not in the near future though..

Well mid year exams are finally here and inarguably this has been the most stressful and taxing MYE in my 4 years of sec skul life! Loads of mugging, temptation resisting and more put in... With luck it'll all pay off..Flopped structured essay qstn 1 for social studies; gave an answer that didnt quite match the time frame of the question... 1960's..1970's.. cant tell the freaking diff! Maths on the other hand was reasonably easy.. i think i've got a good chance of passing. If i do it'd be the first pass after 3 consecutive years of MYE maths failures..
Hope i can remember all the shit i cramped in my head for geography tmr.
