Just a short one.
Coming into St.patrick's secondary 4 years ago, i never imagined how much i would grow to love this school. It's culture, life, and people are extremely diverse and unique. Sure there was a time when we were placed in the lower rankings of this academics-favouring society, but we preserved whats most important. Individuality. It is the typical misbehaving, witty and corny* stereotype that defines us. We dont want to change it and never will. Potest Qui Vult forever SPS!

Life with 4e4 has been enriching and fun. Without them i dont think i could have changed myself to be a better person.. even though i often deny it. It's been a great experience these 2 years and i'll never forget them.
Faithfully preserving true rock and metal.. 4E4 2006!!

16th Birthday.

This has been the most memorable birthday ever. I really embraced the care and concern from family and friends this time round, i found i actually experienced a change! Not physically, But spiritually and sentinmentally! Well enough of that.. Here's what happend.

Yea so started the day with church as usual.
Only this time i went in with a new mindset and a determination to change like never before! As i kneeled alongside the pew and prayed, something intense burned in my heart.. rekindled after months of inactivity.

Attended mass with nick and later went to have lunch with the rest.

Then came the 10 hours free LAN extravaganza at cyber arena with Yong Sen, Edward and Furtado! Lmao. Shared it with them and had a blast gaming.. which of course i have been deprived of for a year!! Battlefield 2 was nuts! Blowing people's head's off with tanks is fun! Warcraft was cool too.. especially when furtado ran into my base of skeleton mage hordes!! (HAHA that was some funny shit eh dude?)

After LAN, we went to chill out at Weast Cafe.. the Pao there is awesome you guys should try it sometime. It's opposite Katong mall, and a short walk away from Glory Catering. Talked alot of poppycock... (that stuff about h**f was priceless man ahaha!!)

Went to join my family for birthday dinner at Ngee Ann City... ate at some Jap restaurant and had Ebi Fried Curry Bento with Croquettes and Tori Katsu! Sweet Mother of Jesus.... that was really good stuff! Anyway had a good time with my family and we really reassured each other of our love and stuff.

Joined my cousins at "Original Sin" around holland village and had had really good apple crumble and pizza. Dam it was a fun night....then the cake came out. i went from: huh? -> WHAT? -> WTF?! -> ?!!!!. Lmao.
The waiter pushed my crumble away and put the tiramissu cake infront of me. And they sang the birthday song right there! That was great and all but.. i was freakin pai seh!! Haha but it was really neat guys thanks!!

Went home....... to more cake.

Not to disappoint all of you, i have once again proven just how completely insane i have become under exam pressure. O levels are in roughly 4 weeks... Sweet Jesus its 4 freaking weeks! Its almost as if primary 6 were yesterday..(yes,the happy mug-free days of short pants and pokemon cards). Those were the days.

For those of you who were unable to comprehend my poem.. which you probably wouldnt be able to because of the high spasticity level.... I failed prelims miserably! Thats right! A fail in Comb. Sciences, Comb Humans... and not forgetting.. MATHS! Tell me friends.. whats to stop me from jumping off a 60 story building right now!!!

Well i'm sure you guys have heard the news. The cheerful unique and daring individual known as Steve Irwin ( A.k.a The Crocodile Hunter ) has passed away. Around late morning, he was pierced in the heart by the barb of a Sting Ray and died shortly after.

People like him come along once in a very long time, with their optimistic views and innocence. I remember watching his show when i was little, dreaming of becoming a zoologist one day; to save animals as he has on countless occasions. Trully an inspiration, he has driven and motivated me since young and i'm sure he's in a very, very happy place now ^_^ Where the teletubbies.. angel crocs and... yea im sure you get the picture.

Well, apparently someone started some online rememberance thing for him... Here's a screen i took of my msn around 1 hour after i recieved the forward from a friend.

Alright i realise i havent done a proper entry in close to a month? This is not going to be any different. :)

Have had pretty much very little time to relax or have fun this month.. with art deadlines, remedials and stuff piling up. It's 3 months to O lvls and the stress is building up!

English O lvl Orals went pretty well i guess, cept for abit of stuttering here and there. I got a C6 for chinese.. which is a blessing considering i kinda suck at it and, well we only produced 3 A1's in the whole chinese cohort. I think im on track to my target L1R4.. been working really hard on maths and sciences and ive been seeing improvement in all subjects so.. yea im gonna keep going.. persistence christian! persistence!

O yeah and i changed my target Temasek Poly course to Visual Communications. Hoping to get an L1R4 of 9! I figured Mass com was kinda risky, and it is in really high demand at the moment. Vis.Com seems to be a better idea.. i can put my designing to gd use and enjoy school lol..

This post will probably serve more as a self reminder/motivation to study then as good reader content, so.. if you dont like what you see i dont care.

O levels are in 12 weeks. I think its time to start getting serious and focusing if im to achieve my goal of a place in Temasek Poly's Visual Com. Prelims are in a month, and im definitely not prepared. There are still whole topics i dont understand, and chapters ive completely forgot.

Starting tomorrow i'll cut the distractions and focus on mugging.. no more missing GCP remedials.. slacking or dosing off in class. This is the O lvls. Wake the fuck up christian.

Hopefully tuition with ex-teacher Ms.Shakthi will help boost my chem results. Maths seems to be on the right track and English looks to be set on course too.. cant say the same for Physics though. SS teacher Michelle Sim ( a.k.a the cow ) has officially resigned, after 5 weeks of absence.. how nice! I could use some help with map reading for geog, and LORMS for history. Other then that, i guess i just need to keep attending remedials..

It is official. I am confirmed! wahaha.. After 10 years of preparation, im ready to serve in God's Army! hehe.. omg i sound so corny.

Moving on, I miss my old church but cannot relive days of past now that old friends have disappeared, and feelings of familiar warmth gone. It was in that church where i begun my journey into christ and i will never forget the wonderful times spent there.

In this church however, ive learnt that arrogance and pride will get you nowhere, ive also learnt the value of true friendship and my trust in friends has grown. For those con4's reading this, i thank all of you greatly for helping me integrate into this church n grow. I would never have experienced the same level of warmth and wanting to know god in my other church ; it was of an entirely diferent plane ( too competitive perhaps? ). Despite this, i still miss it(not regret) but i have to come to love Queen of Peace and i will continue enriching my faith here.

Hopefully, ill be able to apply all ive learnt and be able to counter the hypocrites, evil, and fucktards who question the catholic faith.

School
School's started once again and im all set to go full-drive towards O lvl grade excellence! Teachers have been giving the usual pep talks and briefing us on the coming GCP remedials. Kinda looking forward to GCP ; im in desperate need of some revision.
CCA has finally reached a permenant stand-down too and today was the last training the seniors will have to conduct.. Hell yeah! Freedom at last!!
Think this term's gonna be really hectic and challenging, but im all for it.. anything to reach my goal!

Other stuff:
Forming a band with james but we're only gonna go hardcore after O's.. Things seem to be going well but we'll probably need a more reliable drummer than Daryl.
Band genre's probably gonna be towards the post-hardcore-emo/punk side but we haven't really decided yet. Been composing some songs lately that have that kinda feel and i might post the lyrics up sometime soon.
Song titles that have mysteriously formed in my mind include: "Political Paranoia" and "Depression is an understatement"...

Youth day's next monday... guess this means more time for jamming XD. and..*ahem*.. mugging.

Confirmation camp 2006.

Con camp this year has indeed renewed my faith. I realised during this camp that what ive supposedly been doing for god for a long period of time has been a dillusion. For awhile ive been having doubts about my faith, questioning the existence of god and why we're even here. After Bro Jude's talk however, i feel otherwise.

Day one.
First half of day one were ice breakers. You could say my group owned ahaha.. thanks to gabriel's ideas and some *ahem* cheat*ahem*ing at the marshmellow part. Overall the ice breaker games were enjoyable.. especially the water bomb part! While everyone else was busy running for cover and finding ammunition me and leslie sneaked up behind enemy lines and stole a couple of bombs =D. Not to be outbeaten Gabriel stunned a whole pail of bombs.. wtf lol.

And then there was the flour game... Shift across flour-water soaked chairs and challenge the opposing player to scissors paper stone! The loser goes back to the start while the winner continues shifting!... Either way you get dirty lol. Well.. it was kinda fun.. and of course our group won XD. After flour game no.1 we had the "one smart man he felt smart flour game". Same rules apply ; you still get dirty and challenge the opposition to see who reaches the end.. only this time at every chair you have to go " One smart man he felt smart ".. " two smart men they felt smart " and so on... Oh and we won that too.

LOOKS LIKE PRACTICE IN CLASS PAYED OFF.

After games we had dinner.. really good curry.. veggie was abit hard though.

Seems the praise and worship turned out well and i got some really great feedback from friends. I still think i screwed up "now that you're near" and some other parts.. but i guess what matters is that the con4's enjoyed it still.. so.. yeah its nice that they appreciated it. Everyone in the band was playing well; Shaun's vocals were there, Gabriel's bass accompanying perfectly and Ori's drumming in sync. Hope we'll get to do this again in future.

The rest of the night involved reflection and a talk by brother jude, of how we are just fertiliser made into life through the breath of god. Bro.Jude also reassured us of our faith by telling us that we are God's children and reminded us of his ultimate sacrifice through the cross. Brother also went on to explain theology in a nutshell ..really interesting and enriching session and it helped to clear alot of doubts.

Then came free time ahah.. total chaos in class tau pok-ing everyone! ( For those who dont know tau pok is when every1 piles ontop of a victim and squashes him. oh yes it hurts. ) Everyone had a good time be it playing taiti, being tau-poked or just joking around.. it was a fun night.
Later on went out to join chan,nick and the twins to do some late night biking/chilling out downstairs. We ended up sleeping at 5.

Day two
Day two was more serious and we went into deep reflection, affirming our love for god through sessions and on occasion praise and worship. Second half of the day was less eventful and we spent it mostly on writing fuzzies for each other. The camp ended with mass with our parents and the look of renewed faith on everyone's faces.

Other
-Con4 t-shirts turned out nice. Almost everyone wore it during camp!

Although i feel it wasnt as deep as last year's camp, this camp has definitely rekindled my faith in god and i feel inspired to do god's work once again. This time however ill do it with him in mind, not letting other thoughts cloud my vision or objectives. No more dillusions.

Overslept this morning and conveniently missed art... giving me my first official holiday-holiday! =D. Spent the day stoning, doing some sketches,mindlessly strumming the guitar and... more stoning. It has, and will continue to be a very busy June holiday. Whole of last week was taken up by praise and worship practice, remedials, and on occasion just chilling with friends. Guess ill only be able to get a full night of sleep next week..

A7X Layout.

As you guys can see...new layout! Well the previous one was a sad excuse for a more custom based skin so i scrapped the whole modify a blogskin.com skin idea and started from scratch... Got the pics from avenged sevenfold's webby and figured out the colour scheme myself ( not that anyone can't but.. ) *ahem*. So... Here's the end result.. an A7X themed header and metal-punk inspired layout. =)

Ok moving on to some other stuff. Been spending the past week rehearsing Praise and worship for the coming con camp. Here are the finalised band positions ( Not after initial confusion ); Guitar1:Me. Guitar 2: Gabriel Liew.Drums:Oriana. Praise Leaders/Singers: Shaun, Chan.
What a talented bunch of cronies! ^_^. Anyhows, i think PnW's gonna be really great. We'll be covering songs like Hillsong's "One Way" and "Now that you're near".

Got Art tmr from 9-5. No im not exaggerating. O lvls are around the corner and we've got to complete our coursework of 16 prepatory sketches, each almost twice the size of an A3 board.
Also got PnW practice tmr nite.. looking forward to that.

Chinese O's.

Chinese O's. - Updated

First part of the paper, with the exception of um.." duan wen dien kong" (i dont know if i got that right and i dont fucking care), was relatively easy. I could actually understand the passage and thus b able to answer those opinion-based questions.. so... yeah happy about that.

Last passage however, was quite the opposite. Couldnt understand crap from the passage and the questions were all based on deep understanding of the content. All i could do was copy out whole chunks of answers from the passage... hopefully i actually get a few questions right =D.

And thats that. Chinese o lvls... Pass this and i can leave chinese behind.. fail and...gotta fucking retake!....

O god pls let me pass!

This is it. The very first O lvl exam.. Chinese!! Quite nervous as this will be mine, as well as my classmate's first official examination! I keep having these images that i freeze halfway, forgetting every letter format, every "chen yu".. and everything i studied! Chances of that happening are.. well.. based on my weird ways.. perhaps 90%? :). Oh well... i'll just pray and see how it turns out.... time to recall how those "cool down" exercises go again...

I think im pretty much prepared for tmr.. spent yesterday doing papers, compos, and seeking advice from my sister! ( who miraculously is the first person in my family to pass chinese in 0's ).. so yea.. i think it should be alright.

why the change?
I've suffered the terrible consequence of Singlish usage.. as seen in my exam results, thus i feel i should start typing proper, readable english once again. Also, have recieved lots of feedback from readers and i decided to do something to make this blog more presentable. Finally, i think its about time this blog got a renovation. :)

Hey folks! Finally got a new layout up.. quite a change from the usual pre-made skins... went all out to make this one custom.. what do you guys think?

Anyways, thought some of you might be interested in my last minute MYE art work lol; a combination of 2 hours+ of cross etch and paintshop. In case you guys were wondering, cross etch is a form of art where you basically draw, shade, and tone out works using really fine tipped pens. (Eg.0.01, 0.05,0.1) In my case i used alot of 0.05...........ok so here they are..

The Dentist, Ass surgery, and crappy results..

The Dentist
Was summoned to the pit of tremendous pain and stupidity today(a.ka. The dentist ).
Horrible experience! I Just fucking hate a drill spurting water being stuffed into my mouth together with a psycho dentist exploring my teeth! Its just not right! Freakin hell.. i brush my teeth and clean my gums! WHY ME?!
Anyways..Managed to get a photo of the scene before a drill hammered home in my teeth.

Dad's surgery
My dad had to undergo surgery for some arse problem.. something to do with a collapse of his internal ass lining... went to visit him at the hospital 2 days ago and he's now back home and walking again... looks like the ass-lining stapling was a success! ^_^.

And now..Results

Results are generally disappointing.. at this point i think i have to buck up and start seriously mugging. Not mug/msn/music/break mugging... SOLID, HARDCORE, STRESSFUL MUGGING is what i need right now.

Recieved my all time low for english... a fucking 52. I guess it would be childish and sore if i were to tell you guys that Errol chang (Nutcase Geog/Eng teacher from Sarawak) has some deep hatred for me and thus marked my paperwith extreme biaseness..Even if thats what i feel..
However the fact remains. My english has detereorated..undoubtedly due to excessive jay chou songs. Ill spend the coming holiday brushing up on my grammer and hopefully i can pull out of this shitty english state by prelims.

Moving on to Combined Humans, Art and sciences... I failed SS by 1 mark. how fucking sad is that? On a better note i actually hit my target for geog .( B4. i know its kinda low but hey, its a start... )Anyways, that kinda pulled up my humans.. final score -> 55%... Chemistry results were expected.. a fail.. couldnt understand half the paper.. some1 give me chem tuition!!! Havent gotten back Physics results.. will update tmr..
Screwed up for Art, got a measly 60... guess i deserve it cus of the last minute work i handed in... but then again.. everyone handed in last minute work lol.

Failed Maths, however there seems to be improvement... Used to fail with an F9 but this time i missed passing by 8 marks! So.. yea i guess im on the right track but i've seriously got to push harder if im to pass for prelims... in 3 fucking months..

So there you have it.. my super shitty results... gonna have to push myself harder from now on.. Looking forward to a mug-happy june holiday!^_^

Cross country 2006.

Ended up running competitive today due to of lack of participants; only 4 of us in total turned up for Buckley house. Ironically Mr.Soh, on selection day striked off the names of pple who had to run for the absentees and came in at top positions . Ie.) Marc Anthony, 4th/30.

The 4.8km was no joke. Started off running with ajmal for the first 2km... told him not to run fast at the start... he began to lose energy by the 1.6km mark.. anway.. seeing as he slowed down for me at many points in the run i slowed down and waited for him too when he decided to walk...

He later told me to go ahead
( Quite a relief. Not because he was a hindrance or anything but that my momentum was disrupted due to the run-walk pace, thus causing me to lose energy quicker )
Continued running til the last stretch.. i think roughly about 2km long.. Fucking hell it was like eternity... really had to push myself then... what made it worse was the fact that the track was covered in sand, so as you run you burn lots of precious energy just ripping your foot out of the sand.
Thankfully i made it and ran through the last stretch,half-sprinting to the finish line.. Here are the results.

Position : 17/30
Timing: Around 30 min.
Reward: Free pair of socks and water!

Quite happy with my position, considering the fact that i wasted alot of time and that i didnt train for this run whatsoever. Its a nice feeling when you finish something that was fucking tedious and look back on it... Still rmb my sec 2 run even now! Think i came in26/55+ or something like that then.

And so ends my seconday school cross country experience! ^_^

Just another sunday.

Went for mass as usual today, followed by lunch with the con4's... discussed the class t-shirt and i'm happy to say it might actually turn out awesome.
So anyhows, spent the evening coming up with the dove design drafts and here's the most "presentable" i produced.....

Headed off to play CS with chan, shaun and andrea at nearby city plaza after lunch. Not to be a brag but i kinda owned.... Kinda.

Mom's birthday.

Celebrated my mom's birthday @ regent hotel with the family at this really rad chinese restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and the food portioning equally fulfilling. Moving on to the food.. We had Cereal prawn ( Crispy batter layered prawns buried in mountains of sweet "cereal".. best dish ever! ) , Kai lan, soup , noodles and some chicken dish soaked in tasty gravy. Conclusion? The food was excellente! Satisfying beyond words! ^_^

Could see mom enjoyed it too.Argh but i still haven't bought her birthday present.. better do something before wednesday.

Oh yeah and i found this band on http://www.purevolume.com called " A change of pace ". Awesome post-hardcore, screamo and punk band! Go listen.. they've got free song downloads on their profile.

Poseidon and Cineplex.

Went with jared, siew, khoo, james to watch poseidon today. action sequences were cool and graphics were not too bad either. However i feel they should have put a larger emphasis on the characters themselves, bringing out their talents, memories and weaknesses. The lack of these factors created a movie with no "heart", plunging right into pure action and thus forsaking the emotion that the first poseidon movie radiated.
(God, im beginning to sound like those ever squabbling film critics lol.)

Watched the movie in some new place called Cineplex. The place is neat, its cinemas has really comfy seats that can match those you see on business class flights! They also have "couple " seats which are larger, situated at the back, and have movable arm rests lol. Definitely gonna be back here for more. Not in the near future though..

Well mid year exams are finally here and inarguably this has been the most stressful and taxing MYE in my 4 years of sec skul life! Loads of mugging, temptation resisting and more put in... With luck it'll all pay off..

Flopped structured essay qstn 1 for social studies; gave an answer that didnt quite match the time frame of the question... 1960's..1970's.. cant tell the freaking diff! Maths on the other hand was reasonably easy.. i think i've got a good chance of passing. If i do it'd be the first pass after 3 consecutive years of MYE maths failures..

Hope i can remember all the shit i cramped in my head for geography tmr.

Ok first off, today's praise and worship session.

Began with a rocky start cus everyone wasnt sure of the tempo but it got better as we progressed and soon everyone was singing! Turned out to be really great and well.. hopefully the class enjoyed it haha... Think my playing could've been better.. my bloody nerves got the better of me.. o well lol..

Something shitty happened today though.. left my guitar at Banquet Food court after lunch wif the con4's.. God damit only realised it when i got home and had to freakin rush out of the house in pouring rain and take a cab back to Banquet... Picture this: A crazy kid running through the streets drenched, in slippers and with hair to die for...... well you just pictured me as i was running to banquet... THANK GOD however that the guitar was still there! sitting snuggly on the chair..... so.. yeah that was that.. retrieved it and went home..

Holy week.

Holy week this year has been memorable..

Tried to abstain throughout the week by avoiding meat... and i succeeded.. cept for mayb 1 recess eehehehehe... but its a start.. Fasted on friday and saturday too.. til i got real hungry and hate simple food..

Lenten vigil was really good and it succeeded in touching the participants.. we had to go through stations in groups and experience spiritual reflections.. Pictures of jesus with whip marks ( mutilating his body ) really helped to hammer into our brains the notion that " every sin we do whips/hurts jesus ". The last station, the last supper was really interesting too. we had the same food jesus and his disciples had @ the last supper ( well.. fairly close ). Lamb, Bitter herb, chapati lol and er... ribena :). After that we had washing of the HANDS ( cud of hand foot mouth disease goin around ) and peace offering... which was really emotional and nice.. so .,. yea.. lenten vigil was great. ..( even though i came home to a hell lot of scolding and an issue-ing of a 2 week grounding... dont ask. )

Went back to Holy cross church today for easter.. it was nice to be back in the church i grew up in and everything looks the same. .which is cool... but i couldn't see anyone familiar so.. yea that kinda sucked. On a more positive note, the food festival in celebration of easter was great. Had a nice bowl of mee siam... fucking hot! but shiok! lolz.

REVIVAL.

Realise i havent blogged in hell of a long time and to the people who actually read my blog: sorry for the lack of updates.. been really caught up with school and stuff..

Ok so to start off..

"Interesting" things that have happened thus far:

Got into a fight.
Learned how to play " sweet child o mine ".
Managing the sec2's in Ncc.
Surprisingly good results in various tests..
Got closer to a certain someone..
Ncc annual camp.

... not exactly interesting but then again.. life in school seldom is..

Am currently experiencing a sort of "identity crisis".. torn between my views and certain twisted views of certain punk ideals.. i really should cut down on punk music.. its making me go mad!... but then again it gives a sort of satisfaction...arg.. decisions decisions decisions.. changing who i am... morphing my individualism.. its just so crazy right now..Thank god that i still believe in the music i play and the art i draw...traits of my uniqueness ill forever keep.

In this period of shifting identities and confusion..( possibly due to this fucked up o lvl year ).. my hatred for hypocrites and posers have grown.. why cant they understand that being someone else is stupid.. its unoriginal.. ( those losers who think they're punk just cus they DRESS punk ).. and for the hypocrites.. why the need to let the world know of what in truth they do not practice? ( those idiots who go around proclaiming GOD IS THEIR BEST FRIEND. THEIR MASTER... but in reality.. they hardly follow his preachings.. )

Term assesment was ok i guess.. didnt get what i was hoping for but.. well i guess its a start..the results are as follow;

*Sigh*... Really have got to buck up and start my intensive studying as soon as possible.. prelims are like in 6 fucking months...

Past weeks have been passing by really slow...Thanks to NCC.. cant wait to break free of its chains.. Guinea Pigs.. thats wat we are. Guinea pigs tied to a uniform grp we didnt choose. Ty so much All mighty principal. *tui* __.

Nywayz, today was... adventurous lol. Had to go for sum part D hands on thing that soh pia tat said was compulsory.. in the end oni 6/16 went though.. Me, Jared, Daryn, Siew, Jeff, n Cheng Han.....

Took our time getting there.. "missing" Busses... "getting lost"... "gastric".. lol.. jus a few of de *ahem* "reasons"y we arrived 1 hour late... well it was fun though. Slightly retarded but.. fun nevertheless haha.. traffic jams nvr seemed so beautiful ^.^''... ahh used my rendang burger voucher also.. not bad sia.. 5bucks n i get large coke, large onion rings, n a burger... Bk sure has genuine deals...

Moving on to the course.. complete waste of time. The only conclusion i can some to as to why soh pia tat sent us here under "compulsory" command was that he wanted to save his face by showing he actually sent his cadets...When he said "compulsory" i assumed it was something important.. badge earning perhaps? but no.. it was sum stupid shit station by station chain of lessons.. FREAKIN BORIN.

With the exception of CNY the pass few days have been quite boring... Homework...Boring lessons.. PT... but wat to do? Thats school life^_^.

..well just thought i rant something thats been on my mind here cus well recently its been bugging me.

I think too many people make too many assumptions, and thats when misunderstandings and shit happens ( i duno how else to describe )....

For Eg. You hear about someone, what happened to him/her and what he/her is doing now... but u get the story from everybody but the actual someone's point of view. Then if it appears bad to you, you start to criticise or form accusations of that person. well thats fair enough if what you heard from everybody were facts but most of the time... facts become opinions............

sooooo with these newly formed accusations an individual criticises the innocent someone for something he ultimately doesnt know shit about!! The someone on the other hand.. is left wondering.. " wtf is going on."

Well i suppose the point im tryin to make here is... DONT ASSUME. ok ive come up with a yoda like code which is..

Ok dis post is with regards to yesterday... was too sleepy haha..

Lak Pati has gone abit crazy la lessons on chinese new year celebration day... reason? Eve of eve of CNY...lol lame.. 2nd part of skul had mini concert.. abit borin la.. cept for the part johan dress up like jay chou sing ou de yang LOL! But not bad la hahas.. Moving on to after skul activities..

Met up with Jared, Siew, Sen, Lai at Lido to watch I not stupid 2... ended up waiting for Khoo, Daryl and gabriel who were conveniently still in Bedok half an hour before the show.. Anyway, managed to get to our seats on time.. which were backrow seats n that was cool... but had to suffer Edward's stupid, embarassing and (I try to abstain.. really ).. Fucked up behaviour. O well.. the bunch of ah lian nxt to me say i diu lian -__- ( Which.. i "hate" to admit was true ). Ok moving on to the show..

Really emotional show, and very realistic as well. Could relate to many parts of the show ( As sum of u might noe of my dad n me's.. *ahem* quarrels.. )... However reviews were right.. the show has no plot.. but its extremely funny however.. for those of u who watch... " lame. ok. cool man. whatever." LOL... Go watch la worth ur money guys.. i gif it 6/10.

Afta show went far east sqre... Lai n Siew went 2 get new year clothes den the rest of us ate @ BK.... Met Denise there ( whom i like haven seen in 4 years ) so.. quite happy la haha but wah lau felt so pai seh sia when i say hi she SHREAKED wtf. the whole Bk turn around lol. she was like " omg was that A LITTLE too loud ?" n im like.. " er.. ya " ... So guess she's turned abit.. jus ABIT more bimboic LOL.

Finished Dinner den went to sommerset in search of jareds * Pool place* who.. ( how nice too ).. after we arrived at a deserted and closed mall said the last time he went there was 2 years ago lol. Got veri sian den all jus started to talk cock and walk towards to PS... arrived at meridien and wondered if we could try to get into the pool there..

Just so happened, we found one place!( After getting discouraged by realising most of the pool places were Pubs ).. YS opened table then started playing... Lots of tyco ass shots lol.. Gabriel pro la mus say haha for the record!

Finished pool came home...Knocked out on the bed @ 10 immediately lol...

Temesak poly open house.

Went to Temasek poly open house today wif jared, ys, n edward ( bloody embarassment @ times ). Anyway... went to check out all the different sections which consists of Business, Engineering, applied sciences and Design.

Business was really cool. the people there are all really cool too.. All around the business school were skits, lectures, live music n more.. was really happening....as for the courses.. definitely by far the most interesting in my opinion. Mass com is really, really awesome.. we went in n got to see radio studios, tv studios n more.. the pple there r all really open too..will elboarate on this course further in this entry.... Moving on to Tourism/Hotel management. It was really crowded la but the pple there were all really helpful. Tourism/hotel management seems quite fun cus you get to go on attachments overseas n all.. neat stuff.. o n er.. Tourism has the most chio girls la =p

As for Engineering.. Boring as hell la....But went for edward's sake.. wah lau the pple there r all like dam dead n dorky lol. Many wif cross eyes too -__-.. Haiz.. Engineering is DEFINTIELY out of the qstn for me sia... hell no hell no hell no... i think u guys get the point lol. Design was really arty farty la.. model runways n art sculptures everywhere.. but nothing remotely interesting.. quite dead too...

Applied sciences was of no interest to me as well.. but for the sake of chemistry- inclined edward we went... wow bio-tech cut off is now 12-15.. really much ezier then b4 sia.. gd luck 2 edward lol..

Past few days in school have been quick. Probably because of the principle adresses/admin stuff taking up lesson timee.. Anywayz on to today..

Afta skul went wif Siew, Sen, Jared n Daryl to go eat Ba-chor-mee around katong area... Not bad sia the porkchop noodle.. but i wouldnt want to eat it everyday lol. Afta tt dey all wanted to go bedok sit down tok cock but tired like hell la so went went home. Sen also sian so he go bus stop too.

But wtf oni way to get to the bus stop @ the other side was to go through katong primary!!! Kaoz! We sneak through oni to find the gate lock! Argh. Walked bak n suddenly started to pour!!..... noticed a condo that exited on marine parade side.

So went in to ask the guard to let us pass through n open the back door for us. The gd ol chap happily agreed to help n that was cool^.^ But the running was mad. We chiong for the back gate than it rain even more heavily lol 2 retards in the rain >____<. Finally reach the gate n the guard open it via sum remote on the other side of the condo.... den came the sprint for the bus stop lol. Finally reached it panting like siao n drenched haha.. Thankfully bus 16 came abt 5 minutes after haha..

Melbourne

Ok finally got the drive to blog abt the Melbourne trip. So here goes..Long post..

Melbourne was a real experience to remember. The people there are all so layed back compared to stressed singapore and more open too. ( Maybe because its compousory in melbourne for all work to stop @ 5pm )However, the racists there actually speak up. I saw one asian guy get humiliated by some aussie nerds on the tram, but that was just one incident.. so yea.... But other than that they're like all really friendly.
We stayed in a service apartment in Exhibition street rather than a hotel in this trip ( could cook for christmas eve cus they provide stoves n all ), rather cosy too.
The plane flight was enjoyable haha! Watched like 3 movies ( Batman Begins, The island, Wallace and Grommit, curse of the were-rabbit) and the food was ..... 6/10 la haha but i was hungry so ate everything up!^_^ Ok moving on to the trip itself..

Spent the first 2 days walkin arnd the streets n shoppin wif my family, my uncle, auntie n grandma ( Who slow us down hell of alot.. but what to do?) . Well it was nice to see smiles around me for a change n wah lau every1 there looks so cool. The clothes in Melbourne r like dam cool loh n cheaper than in singapore. In singapore you'd have to pay like 70bucks for a camouflage pants from billabong that's quite plain, i got one from this shop call jeans west with a dam nice design for like 50 sing. so.. ya clothes/fashion there definitely cooler than here.
2nd day we went to check out this market called "victoria market" to get supplies for christmas eve. Bought this giantic Hotdog from there for breakfast. I think it was roughly about 15 cm.

3rd day the group broke up and me , my sis and her bf vernon went to explore melbourne cus... my grandma kinda held us back =/.. wah melbourne musuem is nice. Saw hunchback whale skeletons, preserved animals n stuff. was really sweet. Also saw James Cook's house which apparently was transported all the way from England peice by piece!! Went to the CITY musuem which was quite a letdown.. the melbourne musuem was like cheaper and had waaay more interesting stuff! haha. After everything met up with the rest and had dinner.

O ya you guys wud b amazed at the temperature there. Its summer and in the morning its 15-17 degrees! Cold sia haha.. real freak weather sometimes shoot up to 38 degrees.. one night it was raining hail! lol! O and the sun doesnt go down until 9pm in Melbourne!!!Wah i would say asians cover about 45% of melbourne's population.Seriously. Around every corner you see an asian, mostly students i guess. Omg if i dun make it in2 NUS in the future im definitely gonna use my own money study here n work too.

Anyway on to the 4th day. My dad n uncle rented an MPV which we used to explore the suburbs/ countryside. The 3rd day was the best of all, with the breathtaking views of great ocean road. Was snapping my camera away like hell. It's really amazing. It's like traveling along a cliff and below you is the coast and the sea. Really neat stuff ill get some pics up soon. Made some stopovers and had really good fish and chips at this town called Torquay ( Pronounced Tor-Qee). Bought some cool shades from there too XD. Well Geat ocean road was great but that wasnt our destination. After 4-5 hours of travelling in the countryside we reached "12 apostles". Its actually these 12 gigantic rocks that jutt out of sea along the coast but 3 collapsed lol... so when we went there we saw " 9 apostles" haha so if u guys wanna c it better go soon if not if u wait too long.. 12 apostles might become 1 apostle =X
Finished off the day with the 5 hour ride back and dinner at a nepalese restaurant. And suay enough when we wanted to go home, the car battery broke down cus we left the headlights on. Salvation came when the nice nepalese waitress came to help us juice the car up cus her car had leads!^_^ really nice individidual la she we were grateful like hell!^_^ haha.

5th day we went to the Dandenom's. It's a mountain range within Victoria with really cool views of Melbourne. After that went to yarra valley to taste wine @ a vineyard. Well i couldnt take any so i just settled for seeing the cool scenery haha. After that went over to tim's mom's house ( Tim is my cousin's australian husband, they both live in melbourne ). Was abit stiff at first but later all the guys went up to tim's family's very own jamming studio! Was great sia palyed with them and they were really good. Tim's Brother is actaully in a pro-band in australia! they've got MTV'S AND A RECORDING LABEL! COOL SIA WHEN I GET THE CHANCE ILL SHOW U GUYS THE VIDEOS/LET U HEAR THE CD. HONOURED TO JAM WITH HIM HAHA..his drumming skills r really good.. SELF-LEARNED TOO XD. After jamming we all went to eat fish and chips which the girls/moms went to buy haha. MMMM FISH AND CHIPS AGAIN.
Afta that went back to the apartment and slept immediately haha..

6th day was Christmas eve! haha followed my parents go shoppin while my sis n vern took time off alone to check out the melbourne jail. After everything we came back in the afternoon n everyone started preparing for christmas eve. Soon everything was done n Tim, Mei ( my cousin ) and everyone came together to celebrate christmas eve. Dinner was really good my mom/auntie/uncle whipped up pasta, bak-ku-teh n more. was really good... Tim brought over his 3 thousand dollar acoustic n naturally i coudlnt resist palying it haha! Had a few UNO stacko games with my sis tim n vern too. Was a really quiet but nice christmas eve la..

Nxt day was Boxing day! We all went for mass @ this church called " st.hilda's!" haha. Wah every1 there was like wishing merry christmas to each other n to us too... wad a nice christmas mood! After mass we went to eat lunch @ a jap restaurant which had really gd food! Shiok bodoh! After that we all went to take a river boat ride along the rivers of melbourne. Was really sloq and quiet.. felt like sleeping haha....... after a hour ride we stopped near docklands to have tea in a restaurant where we had apple crumble and hot chocolate. Omg the crumble was also really shiok bodoh! O ya 4got to mention one time Tim brought us to this restaurant which specialised in hot chocolate and it was freakin gd!!! Vernon ( Mega chocolate lover) went crazy LOL.. ok bak to boxing day.. After tea we met up with the rest @ china town to hav CHINESE FOOD.. cater to my GRANDMA wah lau.. haiz.. but wat to do.. wah but hell of alot of posers sia in china town.. they rev their cars but can tell its jus that their engine NOISE is customised.. not that it actually runs fast...

Haiz.. Nxt day was the last day and me, my sis n vernon went to do some last minute shopping while the rest went to do their own stuff too. Bought this cool camouflage shoe for 30 sing ( Melbourne was having sales everywhere cus of christmas eve ) n my sis n vern went crazy buying clothes lol. After shoppin we met up with the rest at a shoppin centre, went bak to the apartment to collect our bags, n head to the airport. Waved a final gd bye to Mei n Tim too who came to see us off. Nothing very interesting happen in the airport.. just a long wait thats all n finally we got on the plane to depart for singapore.. Took some cool cloud pics while on the plane.. will post it up sometime soon..

One thing i think i;ll never forget about this trip was the 2 times i saw an angel .. yea she was really beautiful.... more beautiful than *** by a hundred times! omg saw her @ jeanswest ( one of the sales assistants ).. so sweet n her smile.. can melt u!!! When she talked to me i was like on cloud 9 ^_^.. such a sweet voice.. o asian btw =] but born in melbourne perhaps? Anyways the first time we met was cool but the 2nd time.. ( my last day in melbourne ) i saw her in jeanswest.. omg it was.. heavenly! after glancing back while leaving jeanswest was like freakin happy to see her smile @ me one more time loh but haiz... fuck la nvr gonna c her again... nvr gonna 4get her though :).. Really heavenly moments when i saw/talked to her and ill 4eva b smitten everytime i think of her... haha wtf i noe this sounds corny but I HAVE TO BLOG THIS DOWN SO ILL NVR 4GET.

Well i think this was one of the most enjoyable trips i've ever been on n i really thank god for giving me the chance to go overseas/ experience different cultures. Was a really enriching experience la n im definitely going to save up to abck to melbourne one day : ).

Went wif Furt, Bagua, Muthu, Phibbs n Gabriel 2 c King Kong. Its really good. The quality of the film, the action, the drama... all near flawless. I give it a 9/10!!! Its bloody nice la!! 3 hour long!! U guys shud go c it! Beats Harry Potter ANYDAY. Kudos to Peter Jackson!!

Wah been a tiring few days, n still got more ahead. Went Carolling wif St.Joseph Choir, Played Guitar for em with gabriel. Was quite fun la although @ 1st was very pai seh lol. Today went 2 check out the star wars exhibition wif furtado n Edward. The Exhibition was really good. Specially the life size-figure of Vadar and his operation table. There were like all these cool 100% accurate miniature vehicles, buildings, and characters. Also, there were the star wars illustrators artworks. Dam their like freakin good i wanna draw like tt sia lol.
The behind the scenes shows were awesome. They show how they make weopons and stuff.

The weirdest part though was the model of Padme. Why is she black? :/

Bought this limited edition VADAR keychain. its on my bag now XD. Afta tt went 2 cyber play some lan. Hehehe owned with Omni-Knight ( Sprinter XD). wud hav got more kills if furtado nvr ks me#@###!$. CS was also fun manage 2 do some owning XD.

Started my 1st day as handyman @ Lansen service apartment today XD.. Was freakin nervous when i 1st walked in de lobby dis mornin. But the pple der r all dam nice la so later less pai seh liao lol. Well anyway here's the routine ill have to carry out for the nxt 4 weeks... :
In every room:
1.) Check for Rusty screws n if found, replace with new ones.
2.) Check for dirty switch stickers, if found, replace and clean..
3.) Check for loose nobs.. If found.. tighten them..
4.) Replace old torchlights wif new ones.

Haiz.. but its quite ok la cus i get to use the fucking nice stereo there!!! Music of my choice whole working.. in aircon.. can take breaks on super comfy sofa lol.. Not bad what!! Anyway here r a few pics i took.. many of which i took while stoning during breaks lol..

For some reason ive gone into the christmas mood rather early... lol may sound weird but i was like stoning in NCC camp wif my bunk mates when s'dnly i felt like singing a carol lol. Well.. Finally back from spec course. Cant believe 4 days passed so fast.. N to think on Monday i was dreadind the fact that spec course was gonna take 4eva..

Anyhows, Spec course was unexpectedly, a really great experience. Got 2 meet many friens from diff skuls, mostly from my group "Eagle 2". Pple from St.Gab's, Changkat, Dunman.. alot la.. all realli nice pple. When we first started the camp all of us were like.. Pai seh n all... but as the days went by we got really close n bonded. By friday we were all like gd friends..Even got them to understand ZHE HOW lol~! Cept for that mei yan.. Bitch la who the fuck you think you are. You may be the OC, But without the respect of anyone, you're just a mere midgot. In case you guys r wondering, Mei Yan is this cadet who bosses pple around n has a frown forever on her face.. a realli prominent one... Hahaha bastard her like siao sia call her bulldog all XD

Moving on to the lessons,IC's n all.. Loved trainfire..hehe not 2 act bossy but i tink i can unload/load magazine, cock n all faster den most pple lol... not bluffing~! M16s1 Rifle stripping also quite fast.. can do 30 seconds.. But Assembly abit rusty la.. Basket during my Test the retaining pin fell out!! Then everything else also!! Basket!! Arghhh.. Well mutuals went fine cus teach own flight.. thank god i had e confidence to do it haha..

Got to be Flight IC also. Was really nice la but super nervous on the 1st nite lol.. Nxt morning I psyked myself to improve.... Had to impress the CLT'S!!! Well it worked.. Gave some really loud n solid instructions la haahaa..." FLIGHT.. AKAN MENGHADAP KAHADAPAN..KEKERI PUSING!".. lol dun tink i spelt that right :p

As for the Admin... CLT. Hazaria(My Flight CLT).. was really great. She really helped 2 boost my confidence la.. thx mam.. Very nice also n treat her cadets well! haha..
AS for CLT. Lydia.. what a fucked up bitch/Butch/She male.. Kao peh la go get a better life lol..

Well the bottom line abt spec course is, despite it was tough n all.. many gd things also came out of it... It gave my Confidence a major boost.. I got 2 meet new friens.. n learn new stuff 2... o yar nt 4getting i got my SPECIALIST BADGE XD..haha... Thank u spec course!!!

Ok.. Finally got a new skin.. inspiration from the "My chemical romance, ghost of you" MTV.. yup.Hmm.. so far got all results cept physics, n here r the finalised marks. But still duno the overall la.

Eng-65, chi-48, Maths-20, Art-78, SS-64, History-65, Geography 56 ( not bad considering only 8 pple in my class pass haha)..

Exam Week. Veri stressful. During exam always freak out cus i think not enough time lol. Only 2 i think i should really worry is Maths paper 1, and chem so far. I jus hope i can pass both. Bloody tough sia maths paper TMD~!!!!! Chinese was gd, luv the new format, ENGRISH also XD, SS , Geog, Phy also went quite well bah. Now oni left one stressful one " MATHS PAPER 2". Other then that jus art n history... heh shud b ok lah.

Well i think the studying payed off. Today went to chill out @ frien house. Bought maple cash card hahaa. Well, cant sleep. Now Jus ripping some tunes on My new Electric XD.. Okay. Today was tiring but worth it nevertheless. Helped out @ church children day game stall. Haha din expect so many of them to play jenga!! All good kids la very cute haha.. cept for that brat. Cb the table shake the thing drop he demand for 1st prize, i refuse to sign he make noise like a fucking baby.. he is a p5 i think. Den i told him i wun sign he try n sign it himself. Other then the brat, ther was dis girl hu keep challenging me over n over lol. Cute la she won 3 1st prizes!!! Den got a kid still can say" Bring it on! " haha... the prizes were issued as follows:

3rd- Take out 5 blocks

Well.. alot won 1st prize lol. Other then that there was" challenge" mode where they 1on1 me lol. I lost so many times!!haha..

Ok. Just finished some late night mugging. Quite tired now its 12.47 am (O. o). Anyways been doing hell of alot of preperation for end year exams which r nxt week. So.. ya hope it pays off..
Been a relatively fast moving week to me. English exam on monday ( no idea why they put it on monday then wait a week before the other exams. ), din go on Tuesday and Thursday cus sick n gotta c doctor. Other than that, jus listen and get important exam notes from teachers loh.

This is crazy im starting to really like as in...really like this frien of mine.. ya i noe it sounds crazy but yea its true. Well.. today i mus say was veri interesting. Gd food, drinks n all. Alot of preperation was put in la. Me,Gabriel, Shaun had to lugg the food n stuff around n chris n gab had to do alot of planning.
In de end, turnout was great. But @ least 30% were outsiders. I mean.. wth? this is a class bonding y let unknowns in?! Mr.Organiser.. U let noe joyce she cud bring her friens n all.. but u nvr tell veron char they all! So in de end dey all poor thing end up 2 girls among a large grp of guys.. dey sure pai seh rite? when char left even worse for veron nia.. If she knew cud bring friens i tink she wud bring alot loh. ( Tt wad she said 2).

Moving aside from tt, later in de evening every1 opened up la.. including veron. Gd chickenwings, Sausages n all.. drinks were gd too.. heh.. Afta awhile the games started haha..

Anyways.. The Sept holidays r here haha wow time flies dam fast nia. Its like oni yesterday was the 1st day of sec 3. Well got quite alot of stuff 2 do dis week, BBQ'S, movies, jamming, bowling and all that shit.. but mus not 4get.. STUDY.. ahaha yup end year exam coming loh.. dun wanna end up staying back like in my dreams >.<''.. so im gonna try n put 2 hours in2 study everyday bah.

Well after 3 years, i finally met face to face wif a gd friend. Yvelyn! haha. Nice to c she's doing well. Dun worry bout ur height la u will sprout soon :) .. N dun put urself down saying u look like shit la k ur doing fine.

Today was like an all japanese food day sia. Brunch had ebi Curry wif crokette. Shiok balls.. Dinner had crokette curry wif assorted tempura. Shioook!!!

Well ive begun playing maple again haha.. so addictive!! But dis time i noe how to control liao la. wont play so much haha.. Cant wait to go jamming try out "enter sandman" =P

Moving on 2 de class party. Our class pro sia all bring so much food. Had curry puffs, lotsa drinks, crackers, chips, CHICKEN WINGS FROM PIZZA HUT. shiook. Every1 brought a lil sometink. 4 me i brought the large bottle of lemon tea. ^_^
The concert was quite entertaining la. Get to c the tcher's when their young. Holy shit lak had so much hair!! My life is a wreck. I duno wads happened to me. Wadeva drove me to keep going or do wad i luved to do has gone away. Ive lost all motivation to do wadeva im doing..im just meaninglessly doing stuff.. So much fucked up stuff has happened.. Mayb **** was right.. mayb i hav changed..bcus of this change ive lost many things close to my heart.. including my drive to live life to the fullest.. I feel like crap now.. however blogging now, i realise something. I have to stop being the person i am now n jus go bak to hu i really am.. only then can i earn back wad i lost. Right now however.. things r very shitty...

I cant deny the fact. My change of attitude has earned me many enemies.. and the loss of many friends.. time to stop this.. i want to feel good again.. feel that im living to the fullest.. not living without any drive and feeling like shit everyday... In order to do this.. i realise now that i have to really give up this character of mine..

My passion for guitar. The kick i get in bowling. My drive for YM. My luv of GOD. Its all fading away. Unless i solve this crisis NOW ill pretty much lose it for good.

On Monday ill enter skul a changed person. i noe it will b tough on the route to the re-discovery of my true self. But i HAVE to do it. Der will b fucked up stuff and challenges. But im rdy. Here goes...

Wah its been quite an interesting week so far haha.. cept for the viral infection i jus caught!! wah liaooo makeing me dam groggy and sore throat hurts like hell! Well.. finally found the time 2 blog.. Been a relatively boring weekend cept when i got my new guitar strap from davis guitars @ peninsula :).. U noe that "police crime scene.. do not cross" strap? yup i bought that one..... Went to "life" pub with my family to celebrate pre-father's birthday celebration lol.. wah duno wad made me sing Qing fei de yi on de karaoke haha.. also went to eat pre father's day dinner @ this indonesian restaurant.. omg the food there is bloody shiok nia.. i like stuff myself like siao..

Anyway.. here is an update on my guitar progress!! Can play quite a few songs that sound relatively right haha.. They are: Greenday-Holiday, Blvd of Broken dreams, Harlem yu-Qing fei de yi, Jay Chou-Qing tian, Robbie william-Better man, Smoke on the water and some tunes and melodies.. the rest i still nid to c the chord sheet to play haha.. all this wudnt b possible without the two webbies i displayed above my post~! Ultiamte guitar tabs and learn guitar online! TY!!

I did sth i tot i wud nvr do today.. i actually tokked to joyce n regina hahaha.. they seem ok.. but den again 1st impressions mayb decieving.. =P.. Yesterday national day celebration in skul was fucking boring sia.. Well yesterday nite.. kena'd a shelling from my dad and sis cus i selfishly refuse to mop the floor in times of urgency.. but @ least dis morning afta a tok from mom i quite guilty but everything's fine now la...

Went online, did some drifting won a few races and chatted wif some pple.. failed 2 get shaun to go YM though..haiz..Den arnd 12 went to watch "LOST" marathon on AXN.. haha shiok balls~! luv that show.. den it began to pour like siao... dam heavy tot i had to cancel my bowling.. but luckily bi 1 it stop den went off to bowl wif timothy, eng HOW,cheng han @ katong.. wah lan eh eng hau came so late he dun nid play lol.. den cheng han duno wad h'pn 2 him..
So ended up me vs tim 2 games.. 1st game my score 115 his 60+.. 2nd game opposite lol.. his 110 mine 60+ -_______-.. zzZZzz.

Afta Tim ate his lunch.. which look bloody nice sia the ban mian..we went for YM.. Ym basically was again jamming la.. mostly ian,gab liew jamming wif mani songs totally out of sync lol... i played abit la but veri pai seh on stage.. so mostly played it off stage.. afta that we all went 4 dinner @ HONG KONG XO CHICKEN again lol.. wah during the meal ME/FRAN/NICK bastard ian like siao haha.. but we also got our fair share from him la... lol..
Overall YM was quite fun today la hehe.. lots of bastarding.. but i tink nxt week i betta bring my own guitar =/..

My dad jus got me new nylon strings 4 de guitar.. haha tts cool but its gonna take like a month 2 season -__-.. sian.. Well @ least i got 3 new strum thingies, 1 from fran 2 from dad..

Hmm.. Here's an update on my guitar self learning haha.. so far i manage to learn all the major chords and some basic ones.. So can play "black moon rising" melody, "god is so good", " Give me oil in my lamp" and a rythm and blues tune haha.. Quite happy wif my progress la.. hope i can master a song by saturday =P..
